Before You Move In Together

1. Discuss where your relationship is going.
2. Determine what each of you will bring to the new place.
3. Discuss issues such as having pets, friends over, cleaning habits, etc.
4. Make a budget for your estimated expenses.
5. Come to an agreement on what each of you will contribute toward expenses.
6. Figure out a system for keeping track and paying your bills.
7. Set expectations for responsibilities around the house.
8. Talk about privacy. What are the boundaries?
9. Figure out how you will deal with conflict.
10. Agree to disagree at times, but always to compromise.
